HEALTHY HABITS TO FOCUS ON

In the next couple of days I highly recommend taking full advantage of the nice weather and sunlight that Northern Nevada has to offer. Get outside and get some fresh air and here are 4 habits we can always work on and this could be the best time to pay particular attention to them.

  • Sleep is the best way to recover and regenerate. Work to get at least 8 hours and try to go to bed at the same time every day.
  • Hydrate with plenty of water throughout the day. I truly feel that 80-100 oz helps us filter many of the different pollutants that we take in.
  • Practice eating better. Have a balanced diet that offers variety of all major nutrients (protein, carbohydrates, fats) and minimize sugars and processed foods.
  • Download a breathing/meditation app. Put away the computer or TV and just get away from everything.
