Rob is the owner-director of Sierra Strength & Speed, northern Nevada’s finest personal training and athletic development experience. A Certified Athletic Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with 25 years’ experience, Rob spent his first 10 years in Division I and Division II intercollegiate athletics. In 1991 and 1992, Rob worked as an intern athletic trainer with the San Francisco 49ers. In 2000, Rob became the clinic coordinator for Nevada Physical Therapy at the University of Nevada-Reno Sports Medicine Center. There he was an athletic trainer specializing in orthopedic physical therapy for five years prior to opening Sierra Strength and Speed. Rob is the only dual credentialed ATC, CSCS in Northern Nevada helping athletes return to full activity post-injury.
Jake graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelors degree in kinesiology. He has been working at Sierra Strength for the last 4 years while working on his bachelors degree. He is a certified personal trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and plans to take his strength and conditioning certification in the fall of 2022. Jake has gained a vast experience in a short time working with individuals ranging in age from seven to seventy. He has experience in sport specific training, strength, body building, HIIT, yoga, and mobility training. He does individual, family and group training. Justin graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2020. He obtained his Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has had the opportunity to work with professional, collegiate and youth athletes along with general population clients. His experiences include working alongside the strength coach for Hendrick Motorsports, EXOS Sports Performance, the UNCC football program, and youth and high school athletes. His continued pursuit to grow as a coach and individual allows him to connect with clients on a deeper level and help them to achieve their desired goals through fitness and lifestyle modifications. By taking a holistic approach and addressing movement patterns, dietary choices, sleep habits, stress management, and performance related goals, Justin is capable of transforming your progress inside and out of the weight room.
