TESTIMONIALS

My name is Douglas Anthony and I am a Sierra Strength & Speed Athlete! I am a semi-professional snowboarder riding out of Squaw Valley competing in boardercross. Being a boardercross racer, we don’t just see one type of terrain. We race through courses of banked turns, rollers, and jumps so being strong, fast, well balanced, and explosive in your movements is key. That is why I chose to work with Rob at Sierra Strength & Speed.

Without Rob and Sierra Strength and Speed, I never would have made it as far as I did in my baseball career. Rob helped me gain the strength, speed, and confidence to be the first girl in Nevada to play Varsity 4A boys’ baseball at Wooster High School, and then one of the only women to play NCAA men’s baseball at Vassar College. Rob also helped me train for the US Women’s National Baseball Team, giving me personalized coaching and programming that enabled me to compete on an international level. The sport-specific AND athlete-specific approach at Sierra Strength and Speed can help anyone achieve their goals. I’m so grateful to have worked with such an incredible coach!

I’ve known Rob Conatser for almost two decades, and it is no exaggeration to say that his expertise as a trainer and physical therapist, along with his positive energy have kept me strong and mobile for that entire time! When I complain, “I’m getting old!” he responds, “No you’re not!” and knows exactly how to get me back in my game. His personally tailored regimen has enabled me to continue to do the sports I love… and to live a vigorous, active life.

I came to Rob explaining I was new to the area and I had been training for various NFL camps and combines and was looking for someone who could help train me at a Professional level and I had heard great things about him. After about 10 sessions I had shaved a few tenths of a second of my forty and was substantially more mobile. Ultimately Rob’s personal dedication helped me garner a Professional contract and I couldn’t have done it without him.
